Malaysian pport travelling into Cancun, Mexico?

I am currently holding a Malaysian pport with an F-1 student visa (USA) and currently studying in USA. Do I need to obtain a toursit card AND a consulate stamp from the Mexican emby or do I get a tourist card while I'm on the plane itself? I'll be heading there in 2 weeks and I need an answer ASAP. I've been searching answer from the internet and I've been hearing different things. So I hope any of you can help me out!
