Why does Obama and our government get to tell us to cut back and live with in our means when they cant/wont?

Shouldn't we all regardless of political affiliation have a problem with them saying that? Just seems like all the tax payers are getting screwed because of all the " entitlements " while all those which are the minority(not necessarily the minorities) are the ones receiving all these entitlements so when did America become a minority rules country?
