Im 15 and my mum makes me wax, it really hurts and i have to wait three weeks for it to grow! what shall i do?

Im 15 and ever since i started getting hairs my mum has made me wax! i no this is meant to be better, but i really hate it! ive been doing it for a year now, and its really horrible, it really hurts and i have to wait three weeks for the hair to grow ewww! this makes me really self conscious and makes me not wear certain things! i really dont no what to do i said to her i really hate waxing but she said "well so what, do u want to be hairy, everyone hates waxing". HELP!
