Name of this hereditary knee condition?

Was it the Osgood-Schlatter ? That is tight tendons causing that and it's not hereditary. Each person can get that themselves. Because it's tight tendons they can be freed up to get rid of the pain, have done it already, but it's difficult to do and you should have istance in doing it. You can ask your dr. about it and he won't know that it can be freed up as he doesn't know it's even tight tendons causing the problem. This is one place your dr. is going to be way off base and going for surgery for a tight tendon is silly for I don't know how they can surgically free up the tendon. I have heard of times they shave down the kneecap so it quits binding but that compromises your kneecap as well.
