Why don't they have a video of the plane hitting the north tower, or the pentagon?

There were no TV cameras focused on the North Tower, there was no reason. But there was a French camera crew doing a doentary in NYC and I believe did have a shot of the first plane hitting the WTC, or at least immediately after. There are pictures of the Pentagon being hit but they are hard to make out. When the second plane hit the South building, I was watching and thinking they had a video of the plane hitting the building, until a split second later, I realized the other building was burning.
