Whats the difference between slander, libel and character ination?

Slander is harmful statements that are spoken, Libel is harmful statements that are in a fix medium such as writing, pictures, and electronic broadcasts. Character asination is delibrately sprading rumors, or other harmful words to ruin someones reputation
